Heart(beats) of the City Returns to Red Arrow Park for 2026
Heart(beats) of the City, powered by MGIC, returns to Red Arrow Park for its fifth season from June 3 through August 26, 2026, bringing free live music, food trucks and midweek energy to the heart of downtown. The series takes place mostly on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with concerts beginning at noon.
The idea is simple: grab your coworkers, take a real lunch break, and head to Red Arrow Park for music that gets downtown moving. This year’s lineup features more than a dozen local and national acts, with sounds ranging from jazz and Latin music to country, pop, rock, soul and dance-friendly grooves.
Food trucks will be on site from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., giving visitors plenty of options for lunch before and during the show. Milwaukee Downtown notes that food truck and entertainment lineups are subject to change, and all performances are weather-dependent.
