Mequon Hosts Winter Wonderland 2025
Get ready to kick off the holiday season with sparkle and cheer at Mequon’s beloved Winter Wonderland Festival. Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 7, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., right in front of City Hall, 11333 N Cedarburg Rd, Mequon.
This annual event is your perfect family-friendly way to dive into the festive spirit. Here’s what’s waiting for you and your crew:
Local Choirs: Warm up your vocal cords with delightful holiday tunes performed by talented community choirs.
Tree Lighting: Join neighbors in the magical moment when the city’s tree twinkles to life, setting the mood for the season.
Cookies & Hot Cocoa: Treat your taste buds to homemade cookies and steaming cups of cocoa – the ultimate cozy combo.
Craft Station: Get creative with fun holiday crafts, perfect for kids (and the young at heart).
Bring your camera and snap memorable photos with Santa himself. Santa will be waiting inside the charming Isham Day House (also known as the Mequon River Postal Museum and Stamp Gallery) just across from City Hall.
Pro tip: Reserve your 15-minute photo session with Santa ahead of time to avoid the wait. A waitlist will be available for those who come without reservations, but spots fill up fast – so plan ahead!
Plus, while you’re soaking up the holiday spirit, don’t forget to help out those in need. Collection barrels will be on-site for donations of non-perishable food items benefitting Family Sharing’s Ozaukee County food pantry. Giving back has never felt so festive.
Bundle up and bring the whole family for an afternoon of holiday joy, community, and traditions that will warm your heart through the winter months. We’ll see you at City Hall on December 7th.
