Getting to American Family Field

American Family Field is located at One Brewers Way in Milwaukee, easily accessible from throughout the greater Milwaukee area:

  • Waukesha County: I-94 east to Stadium Freeway exit

  • North Shore (Shorewood, Whitefish Bay, Mequon): I-43 south

  • Ozaukee County: Highway 32 or I-43 south

  • Washington County: Highway 41 south to I-94 east

  • Racine/Kenosha Counties: I-94 north toward Milwaukee

Parking is plentiful in multiple lots surrounding the stadium. Consider which lots offer easiest access to your seating section for the most stress-free experience with your pup.

Perfect Candidates

Your dog should be:

  • At least 6 months old

  • Up-to-date on all vaccinations (see requirements below)

  • Physically able to navigate stairs and ramps to Terrace Level

  • Well-behaved on a leash and not aggressive toward other dogs

  • Friendly with humans and not excessively fearful

  • A Brewers fan! (optional but encouraged 😉)

Think Twice If Your Dog:

  • Is under 6 months old

  • Is a senior dog with mobility issues

  • Shows aggressive tendencies toward dogs or humans

  • Has signs of illness (cough, discharge, lethargy, diarrhea)

  • Is a female in heat

  • Is prone to heat exhaustion (especially short-muzzled breeds)

💉 Required Vaccinations

Your dog MUST be current on ALL of these:

  • Dog handlers must be 18+ years old

  • No exceptions - minors cannot be primary dog handlers

Location Restrictions

  • Dogs restricted to "Canine Zone" - Terrace Level (Sections 407-442)

  • Leashes required at ALL times (including parking lot)

What You Can Bring

  • Dry dog food and treats in sealable, one-quart plastic bags only

  • Water bowls (portable bowl included with dog ticket)

  • ID tags strongly recommended

What to Expect

  • Crowds and noise - prepare your dog accordingly

  • Walking and stairs - dogs must navigate stadium terrain

  • Extended outdoor time - consider weather conditions
