Best Raspberry U-Pick Farms Near Milwaukee for 2026

Raspberries ready for picking

NOTE: If you’re in the mood for fresh local fruit but don’t want to pick yourself, you can also find a local farmers market.

Summer berry season moves fast in Wisconsin.

If you usually think of raspberries as a late-summer or early-fall crop, you’re not wrong. Many local farms have their main raspberry season from late August into October. A few farms, including Thompson Farm, also have a smaller summer raspberry crop that ripens earlier. Thompson says this early summer season usually lasts just 2–3 weeks, so availability can change quickly.

Check the farm’s update before you go, grab the kids, and head out while the berries are ready.
