Girls on the Run Returns This Fall

Girls on the Run of Southeastern Wisconsin is back for fall 2025!

Designed for girls in grades 3–5, the Shorewood team will meet at Lake Bluff School on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4–5:15 pm, starting the week of September 15 and running through the end-of-season 5K on November 8 at American Family Field.

Girls on the Run is more than just a running club — it’s a nationally recognized program that builds life skills through active lessons, team-building, and empowerment-based coaching. This season’s curriculum is called Hello, Superstar! and focuses on confidence, emotional awareness, and celebrating differences. No running experience is necessary, and all fitness levels are welcome.

Good to Know:

• You don’t have to live in Shorewood to join — families can choose the site that works best for their schedule and location.

• Scholarships and a sliding fee scale are available, making the program accessible for everyone.
