About the opponent: Catholic Memorial recently vaulted into the Milwaukee-area top-10 rankings. They drew 0-0 with Oak Creek and upset previously-unbeaten Lake Country Lutheran 3-0. Freshman goalkeeper Chase Thomas recorded back-to-back shutouts, while seniors Liam Baumgartner and Cal Olbrantz and junior Will Kinateder provided the scoring punch. The Crusaders sit third in the Classic 8 Conference behind Arrowhead and Waukesha West, making them a formidable playoff opponent. We’ll see if the Greyhounds can continue their winning run against the Crusaders on Oct. 30!
