Hit RX Baseball Training
Hit RX is Malcolm Frazier’s hitting-training program. Malcolm is a Navy veteran and former college ballplayer who now teaches Milwaukee youth. He focuses on “diagnose-and-prescribe” hitting improvements.
Programs: 1-on-1 lessons, small-group clinics, and custom camps. He travels to local fields (e.g. Beckum-Stapleton LL) or works online.
Pricing: Individual in-person sessions are $75 per hour. Small-group rates are $80/hr (2 players), $100/hr (3 players) or $120/hr (4 players). He also runs multi-day Day Camps (e.g. 3 days for $120/player)
Credentials: Malcolm played JUCO baseball (all-region) and uses high-tech swing analysis. He’s well-regarded for detailed hitting instruction
Registration: Contact Malcolm directly at (414) 808-9366 or hitrxbaseball@gmail.com. His website (hitrxbaseball.com) has program info and a service request form.
Malcolm also runs official camps: via Glendale’s Nicolet Rec, he leads a Hit RX summer camp (June 12–22 and June 26–July 6, ages 6–12, Fee $500/$560). This is a great structured option if those dates align.
Recreation Camps
The Nicolet Recreation Department (serving Glendale and surrounding North Shore) hosts baseball camps every summer. Notably:
Hit RX Camp (Malcolm Frazier): 4-day hitting/fielding camp (Monday–Thursday) at Maslowski Park (Glendale). This camp uses Malcolm’s “diagnosis/prescription” approach. Dates: June 12–22 and June 26–July 6 (skipping July 4). Ages: 6–8 & 9–12 groups. Fee: $500 (resident) / $560 (non-res). (Max ~10 kids per session.)
Nicolet Baseball Camp (Jason Grodsky & NHS staff): 4-day general skills camp July 17–20 at Maslowski Park. Grades: 3rd–6th (9am–12pm) and 7th–9th (1pm–4pm). Fee: $150 (resident) / $170 (non-res). Coaches include Nicolet High School’s baseball staff and alumni (Head Coach Jason Grodsky is one of the instructors).
Register: Online through the Nicolet Rec portal (see nicolet.us or the Vermont Systems link). These camps fill up quickly, so sign up early. The official Nicolet PDF flyer confirms dates/fees
Private Lessons by Local Players/Coaches
Beyond organized programs, many local college or high school players offer private instruction by arrangement. For example, Tyler Andrews – a freshman left-handed pitcher at UW–Milwaukee (Whitefish Bay HS alum) – has advertised summer pitching lessons (community networks confirm his availability). Similarly, recent high school stars and current college players often teach batting or pitching one-on-one.
Examples: A local group “CTHP Baseball Coaching” offers youth lessons at Whitefish Bay fields for $20–$30/hr. Other coaches (often found via Facebook groups or word-of-mouth) charge roughly $25–$60 for a half-hour or $50–$120 for an hour, depending on credentials.
Finding Instructors: Check community sports Facebook pages, local travel-ball programs, or ask coaches. The North Shore has many talented players (Nicolet Knights, Glen Knights, etc.) who teach on the side. Always ask for references or experience when hiring a private coach.
