Brown Deer’s Dog Day at the Market Returns
Brown Deer’s biggest farmers market celebration is going to the dogs.
The third annual Dog Day at the Market will take over Brown Deer Village Park and Pond on Wednesday, August 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Held on National Dog Day, the event expands the weekly Brown Deer Farmers Market with activities, treats and vendors devoted to four-legged family members.
Visitors can shop the regular farmers market along with additional dog-themed vendors, enjoy live music and grab lunch from local food trucks. The first 25 dogs to arrive will receive gift bags, and families can join a special scavenger hunt during the event.
The celebration will also include a special dog swim at Brown Deer Pond, giving pups an opportunity to cool off and make a splash. Learn more about the pond and what to bring in our 2026 Brown Deer dog swim guide.
