First Day of School
Tuesday, September 1, 2026
September 1 is the district’s official first day of school.
Cedarburg’s 4K program uses a staggered start on September 1–2 to give younger students a more personalized transition. Families should follow the schedule provided by their child’s school.

Thanksgiving Break
Thanksgiving break runs Wednesday, November 25, through Friday, November 27.
Students return Monday, November 30.

Winter break begins Monday, December 21, and continues through Friday, January 1.
Classes resume Monday, January 4, 2027.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Monday, January 18, 2027
There is no school on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and the district is closed.
Spring Break
Cedarburg’s spring break runs Monday, March 22, through Friday, March 26.
Monday, March 29, is an additional no-school day for professional development. Students return Tuesday, March 30.
That means students are away from school for six consecutive weekdays, not just the five dates identified as spring break.

First-Semester High-School Exams
Wednesday, January 20, through Friday, January 22
Cedarburg High School exams are scheduled during the final three days of the second quarter.

Second-Semester High-School Exams
Tuesday, June 8, through Thursday, June 10
The final high-school exam period runs through the last day of school.
Cedarburg High School Graduation
Sunday, June 6, 2027
Cedarburg High School graduation is scheduled for the Sunday before final exams and the last student day.
The ceremony time, guest information, parking instructions and ticket requirements will be communicated separately by the high school.
Last Day of School
Thursday, June 10, 2027
June 10 is the final day for students and the final scheduled high-school exam day.
The official calendar does not identify June 10 as an early-release day. Families should follow building communications if the district later announces modified dismissal times.
Friday, June 11, is reserved for teacher records and end-of-year activities. Students do not attend school.
