La Crosse Riverfest — July 1–4, 2026

La Crosse Riverfest runs Wednesday–Saturday, July 1–4, 2026, at Riverside Park on the Mississippi River. The four-day festival includes food, music, carnival fun, family activities and nightly entertainment. The 2026 lineup includes Mitchell Tenpenny, The Glam Band, Boogie and the Yo-Yoz, and The Remainders.

The main fireworks show is the Chad Erickson Memorial Fireworks Extravaganza at 10 p.m. Saturday, July 4. It is billed as one of the biggest fireworks displays in the Coulee Region and launches over the Mississippi River, making Riverside Park one of the most scenic places in Wisconsin to watch fireworks.

Admission buttons are required for adults 18 and older. Kids under 18 do not need a button. Buttons were $10 in advance before June 24 and are $15 during the festival. Check the official Riverfest schedule and Riverfest admission details before you go.

Several smaller Coulee Region communities also host July 4 fireworks and community celebrations. La Crosse-area listings include Sparta’s Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks at Memorial Park Field, Bangor’s American Legion Fourth of July celebration, and Melrose Ball Park fireworks at dusk.
