Yoga Guide to Milwaukee’s North Shore 2025

Empower yoga

Empower Yoga in Whitefish Bay

Between kids’ schedules, I-43 construction traffic and everyday dash-and-go life, carving out calm close to home is priceless. The studios and community classes below let you slip in a 6 a.m. sweat-session or a sunset flow without a long drive or downtown parking hunt. They’re listed roughly south-to-north so you can scan what’s nearest.

Quick Tips for North Shore Yogis

  • Book ahead: Smaller studios (especially Empower’s heated room) cap class sizes.

  • Heat check: Infrared studios run 90–100 °F; hydrate and bring a towel.

  • Parking intel:

    • Silver Spring Dr. has 2-hour street parking; arrive early for evening classes.

    • YogaOne & 8th State share free surface lots.

  • Family time: Many studios offer teen or kids’ yoga—handy if your crew is already at dance or baseball nearby.

  • Mat rental: Empower sells $10 mats; YogaOne lends loaners; 8th State rents for $2.

Roll out your mat, breathe in that lake-breeze humidity, and enjoy a North Shore summer of strength, stretch and stillness—right in your own backyard.

North Shore Family Adventures

North Shore Family Adventures was created by a dad to two (one boy, one girl), who is always looking for entertainment and activities in all season for his kids. His favorite area hike is Lion’s Den Gorge and favorite biking path is the Oak Leaf Trail. Come explore with us.
