Mequon-Thiensville School Calendar: Dates for 2026–2027
Whether you’re arranging child care, planning family travel or simply trying to keep track of late starts and early releases, the Mequon-Thiensville School District calendar requires a little extra attention.
MTSD publishes separate calendars for four groups: 4K, grades K–5, grades 6–8 and grades 9–12. Many holidays and breaks apply district-wide, but conference days, late starts and early dismissals can vary by grade level.
We reviewed all four official calendars to create this family-friendly guide. Families should still check the official MTSD calendar page before making final travel or child-care plans because dates remain subject to change.

Trimester End Dates
MTSD’s official calendars list the following trimester dates:
November 24 — Trimester 1 ends
March 11 — Trimester 2 ends
June 10 — Trimester 3 ends
The November 24 and March 11 dates include early dismissal for middle- and high-school students.
Tentative Flex Day
Friday, May 28, is designated as a tentative Flex Day.
MTSD builds two emergency or inclement-weather days into the school calendar. May 28 is scheduled as a regular instructional day unless the district uses only one emergency day. If only one emergency day is needed, May 28 becomes a day off for students.
Families should avoid making firm plans for May 28 until the district confirms its status later in the school year.
Last Day of School
The final day depends on grade level:
Wednesday, June 9 — Last day for 4K students
Thursday, June 10 — Last day for students in grades K–12, with early dismissal
Friday, June 11 — Staff inservice; no school for students
Official MTSD Calendars
The district provides four separate printable calendars:
The district notes that calendar dates are subject to change and records updates on its calendar hub.
