Girls on the Run Celebratory Spring 5K

When: 9 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025

Where: American Family Field, Milwaukee

Cheer on over 2,200 third‑ through eighth‑grade girls as they cap off an eight‑week empowerment journey with a 5K at American Family Field. This celebratory run isn’t just about crossing the finish line—it’s a chance for participants to build confidence, celebrate teamwork, and experience the pride that comes from setting and achieving a goal. All event proceeds go right back into the program, funding financial assistance, healthy snacks, and running shoes so every girl can participate fully. Whether you sign up to run, help staff water stations, or simply cheer from the sidelines, you’re supporting girls in discovering their strength—one stride at a time.

Freedom PT 5K Run/1 Mile Walk

When: Saturday, June 7, 2025

This community-oriented event lets you choose between a 5K run or a 1-mile walk, both starting at 8:30 AM. T-shirts will be available at the race day registration table; however, registering before May 15, 2025, is the best way to ensure you get one. On-site registration will also be offered. Please plan to park in the Fox Point Shops parking lots (no street parking). Sponsored by Freedom PT, proceeds from the event support the Fox Point Foundation, helping enhance community programs and services.

Join the 2nd Annual Hildebrand Law Firm Run/Walk for Charity to support the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC). Participants can choose between a 5K run or a 2-mile walk on a well-marked course. This family- and pet-friendly event helps raise funds for food, shelter, and medical care for animals in need. Register by June 6 to guarantee an event t-shirt—every step makes a difference!

Dirty Ninja Mud Run for Kids™

Get ready for a splash of mud and a lot of smiles. This kid‑only obstacle race—built for ages 4‑15—threads through Regner Park’s woods and fields with age‑scaled courses featuring sloppy mud pits, climbing and crawling challenges, and a giant water slide finish. Every runner scores a custom headband, event tee, course map, lunch coupon, and a dated finisher medal, plus a wristband good for a free swim at Regner Park Beach afterward. Thanks to main sponsor Bank Five Nine, the day feels like a community festival of grit and giggles. Space is limited, so register early and let the kids earn their mud stripes!

Oak Leaf Trail Exploration

For families interested in a more flexible and self-paced activity, the Oak Leaf Trail offers over 135 miles of multi-use paths encircling Milwaukee County. The trail connects major parks and provides scenic views, making it ideal for a family run or walk at your convenience.
