Celebrate National Cheese Curd Day at 3 Sheeps Brewing
Wisconsin’s most delicious “state of mind” gets its own festival, and it’s gloriously cheesy. On Saturday, October 25, 3 Sheeps Brewing in Sheboygan is throwing a full-on National Cheese Curd Day party—part family carnival, part food showdown, part very-Wisconsin pageant—with activities from 11am–3pm and live music rolling into the evening.
Where: 3 Sheeps Taproom, 1837 North Ave., Sheboygan (about an hour north of Milwaukee’s North Shore)
When: Saturday, Oct. 25 • 11am–11pm (festival fun 11am–3pm; live music at 6pm by Milwaukee’s high-energy cover band 4 On The Floor)
Theme: Cheese curds. Fried. Fresh. Ridiculous. Wonderful.
What’s cooking (and curd-tossing)
Curds for days: Parker John’s will be frying up crispy curds (available for purchase).
Curd Showdown: Taste and vote in a saucy battle featuring local favorites like Black Pig, BoMallie’s, Bourbon Street, Holler n Hills, Legend Larry’s, Local Press, Miesfeld’s, Ryan’s On York, Silver Fern, and Urbane.
Food trucks: Junior’s Eats and Big Squeeze Tacos & Lemonade on site.
Cheesy contests: Cheese pull and curd toss challenges.
Free permanent tattoos: Choose from three cheese-themed designs by artists from Heart & Soul Tattoos (Sheboygan) and Full Throttle Ink (Sheboygan Falls).
Local cheese market: Sampling and vending by Plymouth neighbors The Big Cheese and Masters Gallery.
