Halloween at Hart Park in Wauwatosa
Families can celebrate Halloween at Hart Park in Wauwatosa during a five-hour community festival presented by The Empowerment Group LLC.
Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026
Festival hours: Noon–5 p.m.
Location: Hart Park, 7300 W. Chestnut Street, Wauwatosa
Admission: Festival admission is free; an optional Kids Zone wristband costs $15
Costumes: Encouraged
Free activities include trick-or-treating with community resource tables from 2–4 p.m., a Halloween parade at 2 p.m., live entertainment, food trucks, a shopping marketplace and free books for children.
The optional Kids Zone wristband includes premium activities such as Nerf battles, horseback riding, face painting, a basketball game and other designated children’s activities.

Important: This festival is separate from Wauwatosa’s residential trick-or-treat schedule, which had not yet been announced when this guide was updated.
Trick-or-Treat Safety Tips
Visit homes displaying an illuminated porch or exterior light.
Add reflective tape or lights to dark costumes.
Carry a flashlight, especially during evening hours.
Use sidewalks and designated crossings whenever possible.
Make sure masks do not obstruct a child’s vision.
Inspect candy before children begin eating it.
Confirm local hours shortly before Halloween in case a municipality changes its schedule.
