Shorewood Feast 2025: A Guide to the 6th Annual Street Festival

Shorewood Feast

Get ready for an unforgettable day of community celebration! The 6th Annual North Shore Bank Shorewood Feast is Shorewood's premier family-friendly street festival, transforming Oakland Avenue into a hub of music, food, arts, and entertainment.

In 2018, Shorewood resident Arthur Ircink -- who today serves as a Village Trustee-- pitched to the Foundation's Shark Tank panel an idea: an effort to close down a portion of Oakland Avenue to create a temporary farm-to-fork style dinner and street festival. The following year, the Shorewood Feast was born.

β€œThe seed for the event started in 2017/2018 when Sarah Deneve from the Shorewood Business Improvement District approached me about doing a downtown dining week in Shorewood,” Ircink wrote on his Facebook page. β€œIn my day job with Wisconsin Foodie, we routinely host large-scale dinners and events and I really wanted to give back to Shorewood with an event of our own. So I asked if we could close all of Oakland and throw and massive party, called the Feast.”

Today, the Feast and Harvest Dinner have become a great way to kick off the fall season in a unique, community-focused way.

Whether you're looking to enjoy live performances on two stages, treat the kids to free face painting and balloon creations, sample delicious local cuisine, or browse unique handmade goods from local artisans, this festival has something special for every member of your family.
