Shorewood Feast 2026: Guide to the 7th Annual Street Festival
Shorewood’s biggest street festival will return this September.
The 7th Annual North Shore Bank Shorewood Feast is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026. The family-friendly celebration brings live entertainment, food, local vendors, children’s activities and the signature Harvest Dinner to the heart of Shorewood.
Shorewood Feast 2026 details
Date: Saturday, September 12, 2026
Time: Noon–9 p.m.
Admission: Free, although food, drinks and Harvest Dinner tickets are sold separately
Location: Oakland Avenue in Shorewood
Event website: Official Shorewood Feast page
The Shorewood BID’s event page describes the traditional festival area as the 4200 through 4400 blocks of North Oakland Avenue. Because Oakland Avenue is undergoing a major reconstruction project during 2026, families should check the official event page before arriving for any changes to the festival footprint, parking or street closures.
You can also follow updates through the Oakland Avenue reconstruction website.
A Shorewood tradition that began with a big idea
The origins of Shorewood Feast date to 2018, when Shorewood resident Arthur Ircink pitched the concept through the Shorewood Foundation’s Shark Tank program.
Ircink envisioned closing part of Oakland Avenue for a community-wide celebration inspired by the large dinners and culinary events he helped produce through Wisconsin Foodie. The inaugural Shorewood Feast was held in 2019.
Seven editions later, the Feast has grown into Shorewood’s signature fall street festival, bringing residents, restaurants, artists, musicians and community organizations together for a daylong celebration.
The festival is organized by the Shorewood Business Improvement District with North Shore Bank as title sponsor and the Shorewood Foundation as presenting sponsor.
What to expect at Shorewood Feast
The Shorewood BID’s 2026 operating plan confirms that this year’s event will include:
Live music and entertainment
Food and drinks
Local vendors and artisans
Family-friendly activities
The annual Harvest Dinner
The complete 2026 entertainment lineup has not yet been released. However, School of Rock Shorewood has listed a free Shorewood Feast performance from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on September 12.
Additional bands, performance times and stage locations will be added here once the Shorewood BID releases the complete schedule.

More performers and times are expected to be announced closer to the festival.
Free activities for children
Shorewood Feast traditionally includes a dedicated Kids Zone with free activities during the afternoon. Previous festivals have featured face painting, caricature drawings, balloon creations, roaming performers and lawn games.
The specific 2026 Kids Zone hours, activities and sponsors have not yet been announced.

Food, drinks and local vendors
Food is one of the biggest attractions at Shorewood Feast. The festival typically includes a mix of food trucks, pop-up stands, sweets, beverages and participating Oakland Avenue businesses.
The official 2026 food and artisan vendor list has not yet been published. Until then, browse our guide to the best restaurants in Shorewood or see which local restaurant took the top spot in our ranking of Shorewood’s best burgers.
Several restaurants along and near Oakland Avenue also offer patios and sidewalk seating. Find more options in our Shorewood outdoor dining guide.
Shorewood Harvest Dinner
The Harvest Dinner is the centerpiece of Shorewood Feast. The ticketed dinner traditionally seats guests at a long communal table in the middle of the festival and features a menu created by notable Milwaukee-area and Wisconsin chefs.
The Shorewood BID has confirmed that the Harvest Dinner will return in 2026, but the chefs, menu, seating times, ticket prices and sale date have not yet been announced.
Tickets have sold quickly in previous years. Anyone interested should watch the official Shorewood Feast page for the sales announcement.
Parking and street closures
Festival parking is generally available on neighborhood streets outside the event footprint. Oakland Avenue and portions of nearby cross streets are expected to close to vehicle traffic.
Because of the ongoing Oakland Avenue reconstruction, the exact closure area and parking plan may differ from previous years. Visitors should:
Watch for temporary no-parking signs.
Avoid parking inside the festival closure area.
Allow additional time to reach the event.
Walk or bike when practical.
Check the official event page shortly before September 12.
Shorewood is compact and highly walkable, making the festival easy to reach from many surrounding neighborhoods.
Planning your visit
For families with younger children, arriving shortly after noon will likely offer the best opportunity to enjoy the children’s activities before the larger evening crowds arrive. Visitors primarily interested in live music, dinner and drinks may prefer the late afternoon and evening.

This guide will be updated when the complete 2026 music schedule, Kids Zone activities, vendor list and Harvest Dinner ticket information are released.
