Milwaukee, it’s time to celebrate! The Brewers’ 2026 World Series championship celebration is scheduled for Friday, October 30, with a downtown parade followed by a rally and fan festival at the Summerfest grounds.
Whether you’re bringing the kids downtown or watching from home, here’s what to know before making plans.
When and where is the Brewers parade?
The championship parade begins at 10 a.m. at North 4th Street and West Wisconsin Avenue. It will travel through downtown Milwaukee along Wisconsin Avenue and finish at Henry Maier Festival Park, home of Summerfest.
Check the Brewers’ official channels before leaving for the complete route, street closures and any schedule changes. Avoid choosing a viewing spot based on routes from previous Milwaukee championship parades.
What happens at the Summerfest grounds?
Henry Maier Festival Park opens at 8 a.m. General admission to the grounds is free until capacity is reached.
The celebration will include large screens showing parade coverage, live music, and food and beverage offerings. Rally speeches will also appear on screens throughout the grounds.
For families, heading directly to the festival grounds could simplify the day by avoiding a move from a parade viewing spot to the rally. Admission remains subject to capacity, so have a backup plan.
Do you need tickets?
Seating inside the American Family Insurance Amphitheater requires a separate ticket. Free admission to the festival grounds does not include an Amphitheater seat.
The announcement lists staggered season-ticket-member presales beginning at 10 a.m. and a public sale at 2 p.m. Confirm the sale date, prices and availability with the Brewers before purchasing.
Bringing kids? Plan for a long morning
A little preparation can make a crowded celebration more manageable:
Pick one main experience. Watching the parade or spending the morning at the festival grounds may be easier than trying to do both.
Dress in layers. Check the forecast before leaving and prepare for time outdoors near the lakefront.
Choose a meeting point. Make sure everyone knows what to do if separated, and put a caregiver’s phone number in younger children’s pockets.
Charge your phone. Save tickets and important information before arriving.
Leave room to head home early. A shorter visit can still be a memorable one.
Check bag and stroller rules before packing
Review the venue’s current entry policies before leaving.
Its standard rules limit bag sizes and prohibit backpacks, wagons and outside food and drinks, with exceptions for certain infant, medical and dietary needs. Strollers are listed as prohibited inside the Amphitheater and BMO Pavilion.
Check for celebration-specific instructions, especially if you need a stroller, diaper bag or accessibility accommodation.
Parking and getting downtown
Decide where you’ll park and how far your family can comfortably walk before setting out. Allow extra time for traffic, screening and the trip back to your vehicle.
Check current road closures before following navigation directions. If you plan to use transit or a shuttle, confirm that service specifically covers the celebration; regular Summerfest arrangements may differ.
Can you watch from home?
FOX 6 will televise the celebration. Watching from home gives families another way to join in, especially with younger children who may find a long, crowded morning challenging.
