Argo Reveals Plans for Reimagined Fox Bay Theater
A free summer concert series and partnership with Chef Dan Jacobs included in The Argo’s future plans
The historic Fox Bay Theater on Silver Spring Drive is officially on track for a full-scale revival. Village officials have unanimously approved plans for The Argo, a $7.5 million project that will transform the landmark cinema into a 750-capacity concert hall, bar-and-kitchen, and flexible ballroom space designed for everything from rock shows to kids’ matinees.
After sharing their vision with the village board earlier this year, the Argo team is moving forward and will open in late 2025 with a programming slate that balances national touring acts, local talent, comedy, film nights, private rentals and family-friendly events.
“Our vision is to create a space where people can come together for unforgettable experiences—whether that’s a show, a celebration, or just a great night out,” CEO Adam Powers said.
Free Summer/Fall Concert Series
Residents won’t have to wait for opening night to get a taste of the action. Adding to the slate of summer outdoor concerts, The Argo will host a free outdoor concert series at Ivanhoe Plaza featuring an all-local lineup, kicking off later this summer. Full schedules will be posted at theargolive.com/events.
To deliver on the vision, The Argo has assembled an impressive roster:
Knitting Factory Entertainment as exclusive talent buyer, ensuring a steady pipeline of shows.
Eventbrite as ticketing partner, making it easy to snag seats—or strollers’ worth of them—for upcoming events.
Chef Dan Jacobs (EsterEv, DanDan, Top Chef Wisconsin runner-up) to lead the culinary program, promising elevated takes on kid-friendly favorites and date-night fare alike.
New Land Enterprises and Three Sixty Design to steer development and design, reimagining the art-deco interior while honoring its neighborhood roots.
In a nod to the live-music ecosystem that makes nights out possible, The Argo will donate $1 from every ticket to non-profits supporting the well-being of musicians, crew and other industry pros.

The Argo announces its plan to transform Fox Bay Theater into a live music and community hub in Whitefish Bay, with free concerts and family-friendly events starting this summer.
