Whitefish Bay Boys Soccer Headed to State Championship

With a 2-0 win over Brookfield Central in the WIAA State Semi-finals, Whitefish Bay boys soccer has qualified for the 2025 state championship.

The Blue Dukes will play on Saturday, Nov. 8, and will face DeForest, who defeated Homestead 2-1 in the semi-finals.

In the regular season, Whitefish Bay has compiled an impressive 9-3-3 record, demonstrating consistent excellence with nine victories, three defeats, and three draws. The team's strong overall performance—a .700 winning percentage—showcases their ability to compete against diverse competition throughout their schedule.

North Shore Conference Championship

The Blue Dukes secured first place in the North Shore Conference with a flawless conference record, remaining undefeated against all division opponents. This undefeated conference mark positions Whitefish Bay as the clear North Shore Conference champions heading into the WIAA playoff bracket. Their dominance in conference play reflects strong execution and consistency throughout the season.

The North Shore Conference includes traditional rivals Cedarburg, Grafton, Hartford, Homestead, Nicolet, Slinger, and other regional opponents. Whitefish Bay's perfect conference record demonstrates their superiority over these competitive programs.

WIAA Playoff Seeding and Bracket

Whitefish Bay earned the #2 seed in their WIAA Division 2 sectional, securing a first-round bye to the Regional Semifinals. This seeding advantage reflects their strong regular season performance and undefeated conference record.

The Blue Dukes won their first playoff match 7-1 against #10 Burlington.

With home-field advantage in the early rounds, the Blue Dukes are well-positioned for a deep playoff run.

As a strong Division 2 program with elite conference credentials, Whitefish Bay will compete in the WIAA sectional playoffs for a chance to advance to the State Tournament at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee. The WIAA Division 2 playoff structure features sectional competitions leading to the four-team state finals on November 6-8, 2025.
