Whitefish Bay's Holiday Stroll 2025: Schedule, Date and Times

WFB holiday stroll

Mark your calendars, North Shore families! Friday, November 28th is the night Whitefish Bay kicks off the holiday season with the annual Holiday Stroll.

The Merchants of Whitefish Bay Holiday Stroll’s festivities kick off at 5:00 p.m. with open houses and refreshments at stores along Silver Spring Drive. This is the perfect time to start your holiday shopping while enjoying treats and the festive atmosphere. Many local businesses roll out special deals and shopping specials throughout the day, so you can check items off your list while supporting our wonderful local merchants.

The Main Event: Holiday Parade at 6 PM

At 6:00 p.m., the highlight of the evening begins—the Holiday Parade! Starting at Kent Avenue, the parade winds its way down Silver Spring Drive to Marlborough Drive. The route culminates in the moment every child (and let's be honest, every adult) is waiting for: Santa's arrival with his reindeer! The jolly man in red himself leads the way to the grand finale.

Tree Lighting at Consaul Commons

Following the parade, everyone gathers at Consaul Commons for the official tree lighting ceremony. The Whitefish Bay High School Choir adds to the enchantment by performing beloved Christmas carols—it's one of those picture-perfect moments that truly captures the spirit of the season.

Family-Friendly Features

What makes this event particularly perfect for families?

  • Free kids activities throughout the evening

  • Live entertainment to keep everyone engaged

  • Meet Santa and his reindeer (perfect photo op!)

  • Tree lighting ceremony that even the littlest family members will love

  • Warm up with hot cocoa and treats at participating businesses

Tips for Families

  • Arrive early (around 5 p.m.) to snag a good parade viewing spot

  • Dress warmly—November evenings can be chilly, so bundle up in layers

  • Bring a camera for those magical Santa moments

  • Park nearby and walk—with the lot open behind Winkie’s or nearby streets

  • Consider grabbing dinner at one of Whitefish Bay's family-friendly restaurants before or after the event

Whether you're a Whitefish Bay resident or visiting from neighboring North Shore communities, the Holiday Stroll welcomes everyone to join in the celebration. It's free, it's fun, and it's the perfect way to say goodbye to fall and hello to the most wonderful time of the year.

See you on Silver Spring on November 28th! 🎄✨
