Junior Dukes Whitefish Bay Softball

The Whitefish Bay Junior Dukes Fastpitch Softball program will hold tryouts for their season on Saturday, September 6th at Whitefish Bay High School Softball Field. This nonprofit organization serves girls ages 6-14 in the northern Bay area and surrounding communities.

Junior Dukes operates as a competitive fastpitch softball program designed to prepare young athletes for high school-level play. The organization focuses on skill development, team building, and creating positive athletic experiences for participants.

Tryout Details

Date: Saturday, September 6th
Location: Whitefish Bay High School Softball Field
Schedule:

  • Ages 6-10: 3:00-4:00 PM

  • Pitchers/Catchers (Ages 6-10): 4:00-4:30 PM

  • Ages 11-14: 4:30-5:30 PM

  • Pitchers/Catchers (Ages 11-14): 5:30-6:00 PM

The program maintains an inclusive tryout policy where all participants are placed on teams, with tryouts serving as team placement assessments rather than elimination rounds.

Season Structure

Regular Season (March-July):

  • 16-20 games per season

  • Two weekly practices at Whitefish Bay High School Field and Lydell Rec Center

  • Weekend tournament participation available

Additional Programming:

  • Fall Ball program featuring Sunday games in September and October

  • Winter indoor training sessions at local gymnasiums beginning in January
