Whitefish Bay Art Fest Returns to Silver Spring Drive

Downtown Whitefish Bay’s Silver Spring Drive turns into an open-air gallery the second weekend of July, welcoming 100 artists from across the country. Whether your kids are budding creators or you simply love strolling among booths, this festival is an easy, family-friendly summer outing.

Quick facts

  • When: Saturday & Sunday, July 12–13, 10 am–5 pm each day

  • Where: E. Silver Spring Dr., Whitefish Bay (streets closed to traffic)

  • Admission & parking: Both are free; street spots fill quickly, so consider biking or walking

  • Art on display: Paintings, ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, sculpture, mixed media, drawings, photography, printmaking, wood and hand-crafted furniture

What to expect

  • Kids Art Zone: Spin-art stations, sand-sculpture tables, face painting, bingo cards and more keep younger visitors happily occupied while adults browse

  • Local flavor: Grab a latte, taco or lemonade from Silver Spring’s cafés and pop-up food vendors, or duck into a boutique while the street is humming with music and conversation

  • Live music: Acoustic sets and small ensembles provide a relaxed soundtrack as you wander the festival blocks
