Celebrate Summer with Music in Glendale

Glendale is turning up the volume on community celebration with Make Music Glendale, a full day of live performances, family fun, and cultural connection happening Saturday, June 21 at Richard E. Maslowski Community Park.

This free event celebrates Glendale’s rich diversity through the universal language of music. Whether you’re a parent looking for a kid-friendly afternoon, a local music lover eager to catch standout performances, or simply ready to relax in the park with friends and neighbors, there’s something for everyone in this all-day lineup.

🎵 Here’s what to expect:

Morning & Family Highlights:

• 11:00 am – Suzuki String Students open the day, followed by a community “Play-In” for all musicians.

• 11:30 am – Piano Players and Pros take the stage.

• 12:00 pm – Kids’ Hour kicks off with music, movement, and fun.

• 1:00 pm – A DJ Dance Party with Kid Boogie Down promises to get everyone on their feet.

• 1:30 pm – “All in the Family” features Glendale’s very own music-making families.

Afternoon Fun:

• 2:30 pm – Open Mic Maslowski invites you to take the spotlight.

• 3:00 pm – Get ready to rock with the high-energy party band iParty Animal.

• 5:00 pm – A special 75th Anniversary Ceremony honors the community’s milestones.

Evening Headliner:

• 6:30 pm – The Luxury Band brings a tribute to legends like Frankie Beverly & Maze and Earth, Wind & Fire. Their 11-piece ensemble features powerhouse vocalists and seasoned musicians sure to bring the soul, funk, and feel-good energy to close out the day.
