Pro tips from local parents

  • Arrive around 6 pm to snag front-row lawn space and let kids burn energy on the playground before the music starts.

  • Bring a light jacket—temperatures dip once the sun sets over the Milwaukee River flats.

  • Cash comes in handy for kettle corn and ice-cream novelties sold near the stage.

  • Dogs must stay home; the city asks that pets remain outside the concert lawn.

  • Keep an eye on the City of Glendale Facebook page for any weather-related updates or rescheduled dates.

Make a night of it

Pair the concert with an early dinner at nearby Solly’s Grille (famous butter burgers) or grab take-out tacos from Guanajuato on Port Washington Road. After the show, stop for custard at Kopp’s on your way back to Whitefish Bay or Shorewood. North Shore summer traditions don’t get much easier.

Mark your calendar and we’ll see you on the patio—lime Sprecher in one hand, lawn chair in the other. Pack the bug spray, cue the sunset, and get ready to make a few new memories under Glendale’s amphitheater lights.
