Nicolet High School Calendar 2026–2027: Important Dates
The Nicolet Union High School calendar includes much more than holiday breaks. Orientation, workshop days, conferences and two exam periods can all affect family schedules.

Nicolet Union High School Calendar
Key district dates and academic milestones for the 2026–2027 school year.
Orientation and First Day of School
Ninth-grade and new-student orientation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, and Thursday, August 27.
Tuesday, September 1, 2026, is the first day of school for all Nicolet students.
No-School Days
Nicolet’s calendar lists the following no-school days for students:

Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences
Nicolet’s fall conferences begin with evening conferences Thursday, October 22.
Students do not have school Friday, October 23, while morning conferences are held.

Thanksgiving Break
Thanksgiving break runs Wednesday, November 25, through Friday, November 27.
Monday, November 30, is a student workshop day, so students return Tuesday, December 1. That creates six consecutive days without classes.
Winter Break
Winter break begins Wednesday, December 23, and continues through Friday, January 1.
Students return Monday, January 4, 2027.
First-Semester Exams
Nicolet’s first exam period runs Tuesday, January 19, through Friday, January 22.
Monday, January 25, is a workshop day with no school for students.

Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences
Evening parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for Thursday, March 11.
Students do not have school Friday, March 12, while morning conferences are held.
Spring Break
Spring break runs Monday, March 22, through Friday, March 26.
Students return Monday, March 29.

Late-April Break
Thursday, April 29, is a workshop day with no school for students. Friday, April 30, is a no-school day for both students and staff.
Together with the weekend, the closures create a four-day break for students.
Graduation
Nicolet’s calendar lists Sunday, June 6, 2027, as the tentative graduation date.
Because the district specifically identifies the date as tentative, families should wait for final confirmation before making reservations or travel arrangements.
Final Exams and End of the School Year
Final exams are scheduled for Tuesday, June 8, through Friday, June 11.
The district calendar does not separately label June 11 as “the last day of school,” so the safest wording is that June 11 is the final scheduled exam day. Families should consult Nicolet’s detailed exam schedule for attendance and dismissal requirements.
