Above & Beyond Children's Museum Offering FREE Days
Looking for a budget-friendly family outing in 2026? Above & Beyond Children's Museum in Sheboygan is offering free admission once a month throughout the entire year, thanks to sponsorship from Acuity Insurance.
The museum will waive admission on the following dates: January 21, February 18, March 18, April 15, May 20, June 21, July 19, August 16, September 16, October 21, November 18, and December 16. The days of the week vary intentionally to accommodate different family schedules throughout the seasons.
Each Free Day of Play features a special interactive craft in the Wonder Workshop led by museum educators. This year's projects carry a heart theme inspired by Acuity's logo, with families contributing to a growing community art piece using a rainbow of materials.
A Museum Transformed
If you haven't visited Above & Beyond Children's Museum recently, you're in for a treat. The past year has brought what the museum calls its most transformative period in its 30+ year history. Twelve new exhibits have opened since 2024, including the Tree House, Light Board, Bird House, Net Tunnel, Culture Exchange, Wonder Workshop, Vet Clinic, Farm to Table, Climbing Wall, Pegboard Play, Rhythms and Rainbows, and Construction Zone.
New signature programs now include Chomp Saw Workshop, Immersive Storytime, Make Music with Me, Makerspace, Play for All, Toddler Time, and Baby Steps.
