Every shuttle to 2026 Brewers games at American Family Field

American Family Field

Six Milwaukee hotels and 25+ bars run free shuttles to Brewers games at American Family Field. Updated 2026 guide with parking prices, transit, and rideshare. (154 characters)

Six Milwaukee-area hotels run their own free game-day shuttles to American Family Field, and more than 25 bars add even more free rides — making it surprisingly easy to skip the parking lots entirely.

The Brewers do not operate an official team-run Park & Ride shuttle program. Instead, Milwaukee has built one of the most generous decentralized shuttle networks in all of Major League Baseball, anchored by hotels, restaurants, and bars that independently bus fans to and from the stadium at no charge. For families visiting southeastern Wisconsin, the right hotel choice can eliminate game-day driving stress completely.

American Family Field sits at 1 Brewers Way, Milwaukee, WI 53214, in the Menomonee Valley about five miles west of downtown, near the West Allis border. The stadium's retractable roof means games happen rain or shine — a huge plus for family trip planning. (The ballpark hosts more than baseball these days, too — the Savannah Bananas' Banana Ball circus took over the stadium in early June; our Banana Ball in Milwaukee guide has that story.)

All approved shuttles drop off and pick up near the Ticket Office/Home Plate Gate via Yount Drive, the Brewers' designated shuttle zone — the team publishes a shuttle map showing exactly where you'll be let out.

Hotels with confirmed free game-day shuttles

These hotels actively operate their own shuttle service to American Family Field on Brewers home game days. Shuttle programs can change season to season, so a quick confirmation call when booking is always smart.

1. Hampton Inn & Suites Milwaukee West (Hilton)

Address: 8201 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis, WI 53214. Phone: (414) 436-2300. Distance to stadium: 2.3 miles (~5-minute drive). Neighborhood: West Allis, directly across from Wisconsin State Fair Park.

This is the most consistently praised shuttle hotel in every source examined. The Hampton Inn offers a free shuttle within a 3-mile radius that covers American Family Field, the Milwaukee County Zoo, Potawatomi Casino, and local restaurants. On game days, shuttles run to and from the stadium beginning roughly two hours before first pitch, with return trips starting around the 6th or 7th inning. TripAdvisor reviews (4.5 stars, 100+ reviews mentioning the shuttle) are overwhelmingly positive — guests call the shuttle "great" and "very prompt." The hotel offers free hot breakfast (including fresh-baked waffles), an indoor heated pool, free parking, free WiFi, and EV charging. Rates are mid-range for the area, typically around $138/night. One caveat from reviews: the last shuttle pickup runs around 11 PM for late games, so extra-inning thrillers could be tight. Bonus for families: the same shuttle radius covers the zoo — pair a day game with our guide to getting into the Milwaukee County Zoo free.

2. Best Western Plus Milwaukee West

Address: 5501 W. National Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53214. Phone: via bestwestern.com. Distance to stadium: 0.8 miles (~2-minute drive, 20-minute walk). Neighborhood: West Milwaukee.

The closest hotel offering a shuttle, and one of only two hotels within walking distance of the stadium. The Best Western runs a free game-day shuttle starting about 90 minutes before first pitch. TripAdvisor reviewers frequently mention "Shuttle Dave," the hotel's driver, known for entertaining stories on the ride. The on-site National Pizza Pub & Grille serves as both restaurant and pre-game gathering spot. Amenities include an indoor pool, hot tub, free breakfast buffet, free parking, and a fitness center. Rates run $77–$100/night, making it a solid budget-friendly pick. Reviews note the hotel is "a bit dated" and that shuttle rides can be slow during sellout games (one reviewer reported an hour to travel 0.8 miles on a packed night), but the walkability serves as a built-in backup plan.

3. Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee

Address: 2308 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53233. Phone: (414) 342-8400 / Shuttle reservations: (414) 345-5040. Distance to stadium: 1.7 miles (~5-minute drive). Neighborhood: Near Marquette University, west of downtown.

A stunning 1920s Art Deco landmark with one of the most distinctive game-day experiences. The Ambassador offers a free shuttle within a 3-mile radius that covers American Family Field. They also run a "Baseball in Milwaukee Package" that includes a free burger and tap beer in the Gin Rickey lounge (for up to two adults) on game days, plus a complimentary tap beer for the shuttle ride. The shuttle runs approximately hourly, with the last outgoing run at 11:30 PM and last pickup at midnight. Call ahead to reserve — it's first-come, first-served and operates a single bus. Rates start around $72–$120/night. The hotel is pet-friendly ($50 fee, dogs only) and close to the Pabst Mansion and Mitchell Park Conservatory. Some reviewers note the surrounding neighborhood is better for driving guests than walkers.

4. Brewhouse Inn & Suites (via On Tap restaurant)

Address: 1215 N. 10th St., Milwaukee, WI 53205. Phone: (414) 810-3350 / Shuttle: (414) 810-3351. Distance to stadium: ~3.5 miles. Neighborhood: Historic Pabst Brewery District, edge of downtown.

This is the most unique hotel-and-shuttle experience in Milwaukee. Housed in the original Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery building with exposed brick walls and towering copper brew kettles in the lobby, the Brewhouse Inn runs complimentary shuttles to American Family Field and Fiserv Forum through its on-site restaurant, On Tap. The hotel offers a dedicated "Game Day Stay Package" that includes a $15 dining credit to On Tap, a six-pack of local beers, a Brewhouse Inn bottle opener, and pretzels with gourmet popcorn. The spacious suites are excellent for families. Awards include Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice, U.S. News Best Hotels, and TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice. This is a higher-end boutique option — call (414) 810-3351 to confirm shuttle availability for your game date.

5. Potawatomi Casino Hotel

Address: 1721 W. Canal St., Milwaukee, WI 53233. Phone: 1-800-PAYSBIG. Website: potawatomi.com. Distance to stadium: ~1.5 miles (~5-minute drive). Neighborhood: Menomonee Valley, near downtown.

Milwaukee's official exclusive casino partner of the Brewers, Potawatomi operates a game-day shuttle from The Annex next to Potawatomi Sportsbook. There's a catch: you must make any purchase at the Sportsbook or place a same-day sports bet to receive a wristband required for boarding. Seating is limited and first-come, first-served. For early games, the Sportsbook opens at 10 AM. The hotel itself is massive — 500 rooms across 19 stories, making it Milwaukee's second-largest hotel. It features a casino with 3,000+ slot machines, 100+ table games, seven restaurants (including Dream Dance Steakhouse and Rock & Brews), three bars, a 500-seat theater, and free valet parking for hotel guests. The hotel also provides a free airport shuttle to/from General Mitchell Airport. Rates start around $155–$162/night. Potawatomi has a branded entrance gate at American Family Field itself. (Note: the casino-and-sportsbook setup makes this the one shuttle on this list that isn't a family option — adults only.)

6. Sonesta Milwaukee West Wauwatosa

Address: 10499 Innovation Drive, Wauwatosa, WI 53226. Phone: (414) 475-9500. Distance to stadium: ~4 miles (~10-minute drive). Neighborhood: Wauwatosa, Milwaukee County Research Park.

Formerly the Crowne Plaza Milwaukee West, this full-service Sonesta offers a free complimentary shuttle within a 5-mile radius — and American Family Field falls within range at roughly 4 miles. Standard shuttle service runs 7 AM–10 PM; late-night runs up to 12:30 AM can be arranged in advance for $150. The hotel also offers a "Brewers Pre-Game Package" that includes a welcome ballpark bucket of local beer, shuttle rides to and from the game, and a ballpark buffet for one adult. TripAdvisor reviewers specifically praise the Brewers shuttle service. Amenities include an indoor pool, hot tub, restaurant/lounge, free parking, and a fitness center. Rates start around $97/night. It's near the Milwaukee County Zoo, making it a natural pairing for a family weekend.

The walkable option

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Milwaukee West (4229 W. National Ave., West Milwaukee) is the closest hotel to American Family Field at just 0.5 miles — roughly a 10-minute walk. It does not operate its own shuttle, but proximity makes one unnecessary. Rates are budget-friendly at around $89/night, with free breakfast and free parking. The trade-off: TripAdvisor reviewers note the location is isolated and not great for exploring beyond the game.

Two additional hotels appear in some guides but have conflicting information. The Iron Horse Hotel (500 W. Florida St., Walker's Point) is mentioned in some local roundups as offering a game-day shuttle, but the hotel's own website makes no mention of it — some guests report the concierge directs them to nearby bar shuttles instead. Aloft Milwaukee Downtown (1230 N. Old World 3rd St.) appears in older guides, but Marriott's official page explicitly states "this hotel does not provide shuttle service." Both should be confirmed directly before booking if shuttle service is important to your trip.

Milwaukee's bar and restaurant shuttles

Saz's State House

What makes Milwaukee truly special for game-day transportation is the network of 25+ bars and restaurants offering free shuttles with any food or drink purchase — a network confirmed alive and well for the 2026 season (OnMilwaukee's annually updated shuttle guide, refreshed in April 2026, is the best running list of participants). Most issue a wristband after your purchase. Shuttles typically begin 1.5–2 hours before first pitch, stop running about 30 minutes after the game starts, and resume return trips around the 6th or 7th inning through roughly one hour after the final out. Popular shuttles fill fast — arriving early is essential.

The most prominent shuttle operators for families and visitors include:

Saz's State House (5539 W. State St.) — Milwaukee's most famous game-day shuttle. Complimentary for every home game with game-day specials including $7 20oz Miller Lite taps. Starts ~1.5 hours before the game; returns from top of the 6th inning.

Milwaukee Brat House (1013 Old World 3rd St., downtown, and 4022 N. Oakland Ave.) — Free shuttles to every home game starting 2 hours before first pitch. Returns at bottom of the 7th.

Who's on Third (1007 N. Old World 3rd St., downtown) — Free with any purchase. Also picks up at Oak Barrel Public House and Third Street Tavern. Returns start bottom of the 7th for baseball. Runs until at least 1 hour after the event.

Kelly's Bleachers (5218 W. Bluemound Rd.) — Runs 3 shuttles; starts 2 hours before games; picks up from top of 6th inning.

O'Brien's Pub (4928 W. Vliet St.) — 2 shuttles running; starts 1 hour 45 minutes before game.

Camp Bar – Tosa (6600 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa) — A Wauwatosa option for those staying in that suburb.

Steny's Tavern & Grill (800 S. 2nd St., Walker's Point) — Good for downtown hotel guests.

Jack's American Pub (1323 E. Brady St., East Side) — Also runs coach buses to Lambeau Field for Packers games.

Several more shuttle bars cluster along W. Bluemound Road near the stadium (Dugout 54, J&B's Blue Ribbon, Magoo's on the Mound, McGinn's Sports Bar, Balistreri's Bluemound Inn, Rounding Third, Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub) and in West Allis along W. National Avenue (Henry Flach, Fourth-N-Long, Aris Sports Bar, Flappers Bar).

Hotels near bar shuttle pickup points

For families who don't mind a short walk or drive to a shuttle bar, staying downtown opens up dozens of options. Hilton Milwaukee (509 W. Wisconsin Ave.) deserves special mention — its in-house Miller Time Pub runs its own Brewers shuttles, and the hotel recently completed a $40M renovation. The new Marc Hotel (175 rooms) also opened in the Hilton's west wing. The Hampton Inn & Suites Milwaukee Downtown (176 W. Wisconsin Ave.) puts you one block from Mo's Irish Pub and a 5-minute walk from Milwaukee Brat House, both of which run free shuttles. The Trade, Autograph Collection by Marriott in the Deer District (opened May 2023, 207 rooms) is ideal for families combining a Brewers game with a Bucks game.

Liquid Johnny's bar (540 S. 76th St.) specifically directs shuttle patrons to park at the State Fair Park & Ride across the street — the WisDOT commuter lot at I-94/76th St. in West Allis. The Hampton Inn & Suites Milwaukee West and Home2 Suites by Hilton West Milwaukee (1212 S. 70th St., $124/night) are both near this lot, giving hotel guests convenient access to Liquid Johnny's shuttle as a backup option.

Third-party shuttle and private transportation

Airport Service Inc. (New Berlin, WI) is the most notable paid shuttle option, operating 15-passenger vans to American Family Field from hotels across the Milwaukee metro area including DoubleTree by Hilton Milwaukee Downtown, the Ambassador Hotel, and Best Western Plus Milwaukee West. They cover Milwaukee, Waukesha, West Allis, Wauwatosa, Greenfield, Franklin, Brookfield, New Berlin, Menomonee Falls, and Racine. Contact them at (262) 574-5800 or airportserviceinc.com.

For groups and celebrations, several party bus companies serve game days. Brew City Party Bus (brewcitypartybusmke.com) runs 20-passenger limo-style buses and claims the lowest prices in Milwaukee, with 1–2 hour minimums and cash discounts. Milwaukee Party Bus Company (milwaukeepartybuscompany.com) offers vehicles for 15–50+ passengers at $170–$500/hour. Brookfield Limo (262-333-0119) provides tailgate-friendly service with chauffeurs who handle everything.

Suburb-by-suburb hotel guide

West Allis / West Milwaukee (0.5–3 miles): The closest hotel zone. Beyond the shuttle hotels listed above, the Home2 Suites by Hilton West Milwaukee (1212 S. 70th St., ~$124/night, 1.6 miles, pet-friendly up to 75 lbs) and the budget Days Inn by Wyndham West Allis (~$43–72/night, 3 miles) round out options. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Milwaukee – West Allis sits about 5.6 miles away near I-894 at ~$76–120/night.

Wauwatosa (4–6 miles): Beyond the Sonesta, families can find the Residence Inn by Marriott Milwaukee West, Homewood Suites by Hilton Wauwatosa, and SpringHill Suites Milwaukee West/Wauwatosa — all extended-stay-friendly with kitchens and suites. The budget Forty Winks Inn near Mayfair Mall (~$83/night) is a no-frills independent motel near Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub and Mo's Irish Pub, both of which run shuttles.

Brookfield (7–10 miles): This suburb along I-94 west has the highest concentration of family-friendly chain hotels. The Embassy Suites Milwaukee Brookfield stands out with all-suite rooms, free cooked-to-order breakfast, and a complimentary evening reception. The Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield, DoubleTree Milwaukee-Brookfield, Hampton Inn Milwaukee/Brookfield, Holiday Inn Brookfield, and multiple Marriott properties (TownePlace Suites, Residence Inn, Courtyard) cluster near Brookfield Square Mall. Drive time to the stadium is about 15 minutes. No Brookfield hotels offer direct stadium shuttles, so plan on driving to a shuttle bar or using the general parking lots.

Waukesha (13–15 miles): For families who want a resort experience, The Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee (Waukesha County) offers a 45,000 sq. ft. indoor waterpark, restaurant, and spacious rooms from ~$161/night. It's family-owned and about a 20–25 minute drive to American Family Field. The Milwaukee Marriott West, Best Western Waukesha Grand, and Baymont by Wyndham Waukesha offer more standard options in the $77–$120 range.

Hales Corners (7 miles south): Limited hotel inventory. The Lawson House Bed & Breakfast is a charming 1914 Prairie-style bungalow — romantic for couples but not ideal for families needing lots of space. The nearest chain hotels are the Hampton Inn & Suites Milwaukee/Franklin (~2.3 miles from Hales Corners) and the New Berlin hotels (~4 miles). Note: the WisDOT Hales Corners Park & Ride lot at I-43/I-894 exists but is a commuter facility, not a Brewers shuttle stop.

Oak Creek & Airport Area (7–10 miles): Budget-friendly territory. The Comfort Suites Milwaukee Airport (6200 S. 13th St., ~$62–79/night) is a family standout with 3 indoor pools featuring kids' water features. The La Quinta Inn Milwaukee Airport/Oak Creek (~$59/night) and Red Roof Inn (~$50–65/night) are the cheapest options in the metro. Most airport hotels offer free airport shuttles but not stadium shuttles — plan to drive or rideshare to the game (about 15 minutes).

What's new for the 2026 season

If you're driving instead of shuttling, the biggest change is how you pay. American Family Field now uses a License Plate Recognition parking system across all lots — there are no cashiers or scanners. You either pre-purchase a date-specific parking pass (delivered to the MLB Ballpark app) and activate it on site, or buy on arrival by scanning a QR code on the nearest light pole and paying via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit card. Download and log into the Ballpark app before you arrive.

2026 parking prices have a wider advance-vs-day-of spread than ever, so buying ahead matters more. Advance general parking is $14 for Monday–Friday games and $16 for weekends, Cubs games, and Opening Day; advance preferred is $19/$21. Day-of-game rates jump to $17/$22 for general and a steep $27/$42 for preferred. In other words, a family rolling up to a Saturday Cubs game without a pre-purchased pass pays up to $42 for a preferred spot that would have been $21 in advance. Lots open 2.5 hours before weekday evening games and 3 hours before day games and all weekend games, and all lots still close one hour after the final out. Current rates and lot maps are at mlb.com/brewers/ballpark/transportation/parking.

The Uber/Lyft rideshare lot remains at the south end of the Molitor Lot, accessed via Bluemound Road and Yount Drive; after the game, exit the Home Plate Gate and walk north to the Molitor Lot for pickup. Post-game waits of 15–25 minutes are normal on big nights.

Gate entry got faster. MLB Go-Ahead Entry — a free, opt-in facial-authentication ticketing system — is available at the Home Plate West and Third Base gates. Families who register through the MLB Ballpark app can walk through without fumbling for phones and tickets, which is genuinely useful with kids and a wagon. Participation is entirely optional.

Public transit reality check: the MCTS Brewers Line dedicated bus route from downtown was discontinued in 2022 and has not returned for 2026, despite several national stadium-guide websites still claiming otherwise. The actual transit options remain the CONNECT BRT (Gold Line) on Wisconsin Avenue, stopping at Wisconsin & 44th Street (~2/3 mile walk to the stadium), and Route 18 on National Avenue at National & 43rd Street, with standard fare via the WisGo/Umo app. Two car-free alternatives worth knowing: the Hank Aaron State Trail runs right to the ballpark with free bike racks near Helfaer Field, the Left Field Gate, the Club Express entrance, and the Clock Tower entrance, and a 23-dock Bublr Bikes station sits on the walkway near the Gantner Lot.

The stretch of road from I-94 to National Avenue alongside the stadium is officially named Brewers Boulevard (the portion south of National Avenue in West Milwaukee village remains Miller Park Way).

Looking ahead on the hotel front, the Moxy Hotel in the Deer District broke ground in late 2025 with a planned spring 2027 opening (156 rooms), and the Hotel Laureum — a 35-room luxury boutique conversion of the former University Club — is also targeting spring 2027. A study released in January 2026 recommends building a 650+ room convention hotel at the Miller High Life Theater site to support the expanded Baird Center, though that project remains in the planning phase.

Practical tips for families

The smartest family strategy depends on your priorities. For the easiest possible game-day logistics, book the Hampton Inn & Suites Milwaukee West or Best Western Plus Milwaukee West — both offer free shuttles, free parking, free breakfast, and pools. For a memorable Milwaukee experience, stay downtown at the Brewhouse Inn & Suites with the Game Day Stay Package and take their shuttle, then explore the Third Ward, lakefront, and Discovery World with the kids. For budget-conscious families, airport-area hotels at $60–80/night paired with a stop at a shuttle bar like Saz's State House or Milwaukee Brat House keep total costs low.

American Family Field is exceptionally family-friendly. Sensory bags with fidgets and noise-cancelling headphones are available free at Guest Services. First-time visitor certificates and baseball card giveaways are offered at Fan Services. On Family Sundays, kids can run the bases after the game through the "Kids Cheer Free" program. Dog lovers should circle the Bark at the Park dates on the schedule. And before you buy tickets at all, check our running list of free and discounted Brewers ticket promotions — between those deals and a free shuttle, a family of four can do a big-league game for less than the cost of parking and concessions alone. The retractable roof eliminates weather uncertainty entirely.

One important timing note: hotel prices spike significantly during Summerfest (late June through July 4 this year), Wisconsin State Fair (late July–early August), and Irish Fest (mid-August). Book early if your Brewers trip overlaps with any of these major events, especially at the West Allis hotels nearest State Fair Park.

Conclusion

Milwaukee's game-day shuttle ecosystem is decentralized but remarkably generous. The six confirmed shuttle hotels — Hampton Inn West, Best Western Plus Milwaukee West, Ambassador Hotel, Brewhouse Inn & Suites, Potawatomi Casino Hotel, and Sonesta Milwaukee West — each offer distinct experiences from budget-friendly to boutique to casino resort. Layer in the 25+ free bar shuttles, and virtually any hotel in the Milwaukee metro area becomes viable for a car-free game-day experience. The key insight for families: the hotel shuttle is really just one piece of a city-wide free transportation network that makes attending a Brewers game at American Family Field one of the most accessible stadium experiences in baseball.
