Rumbles on Main: New Family-Friendly Thiensville Festival
Downtown Thiensville is turning up the volume this summer with a brand-new street festival.
Rumbles on Main will take over Main Street on Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., bringing a full day of live music, food trucks, local shopping, motorcycles and family-friendly fun to the heart of Thiensville. The event is part of Downtown Thiensville’s 40th Anniversary celebration and marks the first time that the popular Eats & Beats energy is rolling onto Main Street.
Presented by Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson, Rumbles on Main is designed as a relaxed summer street party where families can stroll, grab dinner, listen to music, check out motorcycles and enjoy one of those easy Wisconsin summer days that turns into a night out.

Motorcycles Welcome
One of the fun twists for Rumbles on Main is the motorcycle element. Thanks to Suburban Harley-Davidson, visitors will see motorcycles on display throughout the event.
Kids who love bikes will have plenty to look at, and motorcycle riders are invited to roll in for the celebration. Special motorcycle parking will be available, accessible from the north side of Main Street.
Kid Zone and Family-Friendly Fun
Rumbles on Main is being planned as a welcoming, family-friendly event. Bring the kids, meet up with neighbors, explore Downtown Thiensville and make a day of it.
The event will include a Kid Zone, plus plenty of easy festival fun: music, food, shopping, motorcycles and room to wander. It’s the kind of event where you can stop by for lunch, come back for dinner, or settle in for the evening music.
Tips for Families
Arrive earlier in the day if you want a more relaxed festival experience with younger kids. The evening music will likely bring the biggest crowds, especially for Cold Sweat & the Brew City Horns.
Bring sunscreen, water bottles, comfortable shoes and hearing protection for little ones if you plan to stay near the music. If you are coming with a stroller, Main Street should be easier to navigate earlier in the day before the festival gets busier.
Volunteers Needed
Downtown Thiensville is also looking for volunteers to help make the event a success. Volunteers will help create a fun, safe and welcoming experience for the community while being part of a new summer tradition.
Make It a North Shore Summer Outing
Rumbles on Main is a great excuse to explore Thiensville, support local businesses and enjoy a full day of summer fun close to home. Whether you arrive on two wheels, four wheels or with kids in tow, Main Street will be ready for a celebration.
