Klode Beer Garden

Summer evenings on Milwaukee’s North Shore don’t get much better than a cold craft beer with a Lake Michigan view. Klode Park’s popular pop-up beer garden is back for 2025, featuring Milwaukee’s own Torzala Brewing Company. Here’s everything you need to plan your visit.

2025 Beer Garden Dates & Hours

Torzala’s tap trailer will pour in Klode Park on 10 dates:

  • Sat, May 31

  • Fri, June 6

  • Fri, June 27

  • Fri, July 18

  • Fri, July 25

  • Sat, July 26

  • Fri, Aug 22

  • Fri, Sept 5

  • Sat, Sept 13

  • Fri, Sept 26

Hours: Fridays 4 pm–9 pm | Saturdays 3 pm–9 pm.

Established in 2021, Torzala Brewing is Milwaukee’s first woman- and minority-owned, family-run brewery. Expect a rotating lineup that might include crisp lagers like Forty-Eighter, malty favorites such as Bigote Grande, and easy-sipping root beer for kids and designated drivers.

Set atop a bluff in Whitefish Bay, Klode Park offers a playground, tennis courts, picnic areas and a paved path down to one of the North Shore’s prettiest beaches—ideal for a pre-beer stroll or letting the kids burn off energy. When you visit, you can also check out the native plants and bluff restoration that is currently underway.

Know Before You Go

  • Seating: Picnic tables are first-come, first-served. A blanket or lawn chairs guarantee a spot.

  • Payments: Torzala accepts cash and cards.

  • Food: BYO snacks or pick up carry-out from Silver Spring Drive—think pizza, subs or ice-cream cones for dessert.

  • Parking: Limited street parking on Lake Drive fills quickly; arrive early or walk/bike from nearby neighborhoods.

Pair your beer-garden outing with a swim at the beach, sunset photo-ops over the water, or a stop at Whitefish Bay’s shops just three blocks west. Want more al-fresco pints? Check our full North Shore Beer Garden Guide for additional stops all summer long.

See you lakeside!
