Donut Zone Opens in Fox Point

Fox Point has a new stop for early-morning donut runs.

Donut Zone is now open at 8687 N. Port Washington Road in the RiverPoint Shopping Center, adding another breakfast and treat option to a part of Fox Point that has seen several new businesses arrive in 2026.

The shop held its grand-opening celebration in August after receiving approval from the Village of Fox Point earlier this summer.

And this isn't a tiny donut case.

The Milwaukee Business Journal reported that Donut Zone plans to produce about 1,000 donuts a day, with as many as 60 different flavors available. The donuts are made on site. (bizjournals)

What You'll Find at Donut Zone

Donut Zone's current menu ranges from traditional cake and glazed donuts to filled varieties, signature creations and cronuts.

Current pricing starts at:

• Cake and classic donuts — $1.69
• Signature donuts — $2.29
• Filled and premium donuts — $2.89
• Classic cronuts — $3.49
• Signature cronuts — $4.09

The online ordering menu also lists glazed buttermilk donuts, filled Long Johns, cream-cheese Danish, donut holes and rotating signature cronuts.

So if your family has one kid who wants something simple and another who considers a donut incomplete unless it has three toppings and a filling, there should be enough variety to negotiate a successful box.

The menu includes croissant breakfast sandwiches with combinations such as ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, bacon and cheese, sausage and cheese, or egg and cheese for $6.49.

There's also a Cronut Supreme version of the sandwiches for $6.99.

Coffee currently includes hot and iced options, while Donut Zone says an expanded beverage menu featuring specialty coffee and boba is planned. (Donut Zone)

Kolaches are also part of the concept. Donut Zone's ordering page currently lists cheddar and jalapeño-cheddar varieties, although availability can vary. (Donut Zone)

The opening gives families another choice in an already interesting North Shore donut scene.

Part of a Changing RiverPoint Area

Donut Zone occupies roughly 1,400 square feet in RiverPoint Shopping Center, in a storefront previously used by a screen-printing business. It's one of several recent or upcoming additions around the Port Washington Road corridor.

Just down the road, Fox Point has also approved plans for Chucho's Red Tacos to open on Bradley Road, while RiverPoint itself has been attracting new restaurant and retail activity.

Current listed hours are generally 5 a.m.–3 p.m., with a 6 a.m. opening on Sunday; the business listing currently shows Tuesday closed. Because hours for a new business can change, it's worth checking before making a special trip.

The especially early opening makes this one potentially useful for families headed to tournaments, practices, road trips or those mysterious weekend mornings when your children voluntarily wake up before sunrise.

And with dozens of flavors staring back from the case, choosing the half-dozen may be the hardest part.
