Fox Point Ice Rink Opens
The ice rink and warming house is open for regularly scheduled hours beginning Friday, December 19, 2025.
On Saturday, December 20, enjoy food and drink vendors including Tacos la Fiera from 1 - 7 PM and New Barons Brewing from 12 Noon - 7 PM.
DPW crews flood the rink basin to build the ice surface for the season. The process isn’t instant: the basin (about 700,000 gallons) can take up to 24 hours to fill, then another 48+ hours for the surface water temperature to drop enough to start freezing, and another 48–72 hours to fully freeze into a solid sheet.
Regular hours of operation
Monday–Friday: 3:30–9:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM–9:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00–9:00 PM
