How to Rent the Mequon Community Pool

Mequon pool is available for rental

Quick Facts
Where: 11335 N Cedarburg Rd., Mequon
Season: Early June – late August (after-hours rentals begin once public swim closes for the day)
Group size: Up to 250 guests (three tiered packages)
Booking contact: Parks & Recreation — 262-236-2913 or parks@ci.mequon.wi.us
Why we love it: Zero-depth splash pad, 3-foot teaching area, 12-foot diving well with boards, plenty of deck chairs, and frequent food-truck drop-ins that keep the party fed

Why book a private rental?

Sometimes a birthday, team banquet, or family reunion needs more than a few lounge chairs. A pool takeover means:
• Exclusive use of all water features after public hours—no lines for the diving board.
• Lifeguard staff provided (and included in the fee).
• Bring in cupcakes, pizza, or a caterer; just keep glass and alcohol at home.

• Shaded picnic tables and grassy lawn for blankets
• On-site restrooms, changing rooms, and vending machines

How to reserve your date

  1. Check the calendar: Prime Friday and Saturday evenings fill first, so aim to inquire 6–8 weeks out.

  3. Finalize headcount: Confirm your guest tier and pay the balance seven days before the event.

  4. Review pool rules: Coast-Guard-approved life jackets only; no inflatables beyond puddle jumpers.

  5. Splash! Arrive 15 minutes early—staff will walk you through safety and setup.

Pro tips from North Shore Family Adventures

Pair with a food-truck night. Smokin’ C’s BBQ often parks pool-side on select Wednesdays—built-in dinner for hungry swimmers.
Sunset photos: Schedule the first 6 pm slot in July; golden-hour light over the cedars is perfect for group pictures.
Weather watch: Storms cancel rentals, but staff offers either a full refund or one free reschedule.
Party favors that work: Dive sticks, reusable water bottles, or custom goggles—fun and practical.

Don’t need a private pool? Mequon Pool passes are also available. Looking for more pools in the area? See our North Shore Milwaukee pool guide.
